I’ve attached the strace output in the file “out” and the config used to build this image.

06.05.20192269PackagesBug ReportVery LowVery Lowiwinfo_lib.c does not correlate it's list with kernelTrunkUnconfirmed Task Description

The following issue occurs on all devices across all OpenWRT versions as it is partly a problem derived from the Linux Kernel.

It is explained in detail here: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/wifi-regulatory-country-database/35775

Prerequisites:

1) You need to have set up a working Wireless access point.
2) The set country has to not be one of the ones patched out here: https://pastebin.com/M2qTQFT5

Steps to reproduce:

1) Type ‘iw reg get’ in the terminal. This will give you a list of all available channels in the regulatory zone (country).
2) Change country to one of the patched out ones: https://pastebin.com/M2qTQFT5 (Eg. Angola, Antarctica)
3) [opt - Disregard this step if you used the WebUI] Type ‘/etc/init.d/network restart’ 4) Type ‘iw reg get’ in the terminal. You will notice that it has not changed.

Problem:

You can, unknown to you, set up a channel which is prohibited in your country. This is very hard to *check* because there is no way to pre-query whether you can set such a country or not.

More detailed explanation and argumentation can be found here: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/wifi-regulatory-country-database/35775

But it seems to me that that output is confusing. It’s reporting the country as US for both the phys, but it actually seems to be using the global settings for BE. I’ve tried changing the output power to 23, but it’s limiting it to 20, even though it seems to claim that other settings are in use. “iw phy phy0 info” is also reporting the correct power levels and which channels are available. If I change the global setting to US using “iw reg set US”, it will actually let me set the power level to 23. My config actually lists BE for both radios. I’m not sure there is actually a way to set different values for the phys.

I’m pretty sure that both radio’s where set to BE before, but at some point it was listing US for both of them in the luci status (on cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/wireless/radio0.network1). It seems that for some reason it changed one of them from BE to US, and then both ended up showing as US, even when one was still configured as BE. I’m not sure it’s related to the above or not.

This is on a Ubiquiti UniFi-AC-MESH using 18.06.2.

Join the IBSS cell with the given SSID, if it doesn’t exist create
it on the given frequency. When fixed frequency is requested, don’t
join/create a cell on a different frequency. When a fixed BSSID is
requested use that BSSID and do not adopt another cell’s BSSID even
if it has higher TSF and the same SSID. If an IBSS is created, create
it with the specified basic-rates, multicast-rate and beacon-interval.

31.07.20181718KernelBug ReportVery LowMediumkmod-iwlwifi stacktrace in dmesgopenwrt-18.06Unconfirmed Task Description

Supply the following if possible:
- Device problem occurs on

I have observed the following on all recent versions of Openwrt 18.06 on X86_64. When I install the kmod-iwlwifi and the appropriate iwlwifi-firmware-iwl7265d I see numerous stack traces in the dmesg log when I load LuCI and the Wifi doesn’t appear to work. The hardware in question is an Intel M.2 3165 Wifi card inside a ZBOX Nano CI327.

Stack trace is as follows:

28.06.2017873Base systemBug ReportVery LowMediumproblems of mt7628 wifi driver on miwifi nanoAllUnconfirmed Task Description

I started using lede on my miwifi nano since the release of version 17.01.1. All function works well except its wireless function.

What makes it a problem is its stability. After a random period of time(ranging from a quarter of an hour to half of a day), it suddenly disconnected. If you try to reconnect, my device shows something like “setting the network address”(varing from devices to devices). After reboot, I found something like “deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE)”. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to reproduce the problem till now.

I thought there might be bugs on its wireless driver because on another firmware(http://downloads.pandorabox.com.cn/pandorabox/Xiaomi-Mini-R1CL/firmware/PandoraBox-ralink-mt7628-xiaomi-r1cl-squashfs-sysupgrade-r1752-20151201.bin) which is a variant of Openwrt, it works well.

There are many other problems like the inability to set channel to auto and the txpower option is of no use. But for my daily use, they may not so important compared to the connectivity problem.

Sorry for my bad English and thank you for fixing it.
