2405 Base systemBug ReportVery LowCritical snmpd bad interaction with rc.local (gets emptied when  ...openwrt-18.06Closed Task Description

Easy to reproduce:
1) Have something in rc.local
2) Restart snmpd
3) Look again to rc.local is empty

I’ve tested this with several models:
ZBT-WG3526 (16M)
TP-Link Archer C2600
GL.iNet GL-AR300M
TP-LINK Archer C7 v4
SamKnows Whitebox 8

It looks that from time to time, rc.local gets “emptied”.

I’m using cacti to monitor several routers, and from time to time, if an interface is reset (link down, etc.), it looks like cacti gets confused, so I need to restart snmpd.

It looks that that creates the problem, because after that, rc.local is empty.

I’ve been trying to find the problem since I flashed all the routers with 18.06.4 (stable), because initially this was happening when rebooting, so I was not able to find why ... now, I’m almost sure that it is the snmpd restart which creates the problem.

1917Base systemBug ReportVery LowHighMT7621 hw offloading crashingTrunkUnconfirmed Task Description

I’m using the latest build OpenWrt 18.06.1 r7258-5eb055306f / LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-18.284.42397-55ebe88)

With ZBT-WG3526 (16M), MediaTek MT7621 ver:1 eco:3.

Using HW offloading makes systems unstable after less than 24 hours.

I’ve tested it during several days. Now using SW offloading seems to be working ok.

I’ve posted traces here:

1916 Base systemBug ReportVery LowHigh Routing/NAT Offloading not working with IPv6 TrunkClosed Task Description

I’m using the latest build OpenWrt 18.06.1 r7258-5eb055306f / LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-18.284.42397-55ebe88)

With ZBT-WG3526 (16M), MediaTek MT7621 ver:1 eco:3.

Trying hardware offloading, works well with IPv4, but in IPv6 it doesn’t work.

Tested with other MT7621 devices, such as Ubiquiti ER-X, with their own OS and it works, so clearly the SoC is allowing it, but OpenWRT is failing to properly enable it.

Same with CLAT/464XLAT, lw4o6 and other transition mechanism, the offloading is not working and it looks to me it should work the same.

1893Base systemBug ReportVery LowHighRouting/NAT Offloading now working with VoIP/IPTV VLANsTrunkUnconfirmed Task Description

I’m using the latest build OpenWrt 18.06.1 r7258-5eb055306f / LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-18.284.42397-55ebe88)

With ZBT-WG3526 (16M), MediaTek MT7621 ver:1 eco:3.

I’ve VLANs for VoIP and IPTV.

If I enable Routing/NAT Offloading (tried both options (software and hardware), it looks that this feature doesn’t allows the VoIP and IPTV traffic to work as it was doing previously.+

I know this is experimental and may be still needs some more testing, etc., but I just wanted to let the developers know about this issue, in case, they haven’t realized it.

592PackagesBug ReportVery LowLow6in4 not creating routes when multiples prefixes usedAllUnconfirmed Task Description

If you need to route several (non aggregatable) prefixes thru a 6in4 tunnel, I’ve not found documentation, but it seems that this will make it:

option ip6prefix ‘prefix::/64 prefix::/48’

(example for 2 prefixes)

Then doing ifstatus interface-ipv6, you can see that both prefixes have been considered under ipv6-prefix.

However, under route, only the first one has a default route for that “source-prefix”.

Creating a manual route, it works, so the bug is not creating automatically that route.

581 Base systemBug ReportVery LowCritical ZBT-WG3526 frequent Task dumps and sometimes reboot lede-17.01Closed Task Description

- Device: ZBT-WG3526
- Software versions of LEDE release: right now running LEDE Reboot 17.01.0 r3205-59508e3 / LuCI lede-17.01 branch (git-17.051.53299-a100738), but problem was the same with previous rc
- It happens every few hours, some times reboots the router.
- As someone told me that the Wifi drivers are not stable, I disabled both, but the problem is still the same. When they were enabled, it was clear from the dump that the WiFi drivers were the cause, but not anymore.

I don’t know how to interpret this, probably a developer will be able to identify the root of the problem, if some specific package, etc.
