ChaosKai:

The USB Port don't became the right power from the right GPIO.

  • Netgear WNR2200
  • LEDE 17.01.2 (stable, unstable, trunk)
  • Flash an image with the unmodified driver target/linux/ar71xx/files/arch/mips/ath79/mach-wnr2000.c

Hello,

it's an known and partially solved bug in OpenWRT but not solved in the LEDE sources. Now the sources from OpenWRT source solve the problem with the Power but some leds (wlan especially) don't functioned and the original from LEDE source trigger the right GPIOs for the LEDs and this functioned well, but the usb port don't became power and extroot don't functioned.

Now i have used this source from http://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt.git;a=commit;h=95f36ebcd774a8e93ad2a1331f45d1a9da4fe8ff and recompiled LEDE from scratch and how i wrote wlan-led as an example don't functioned but the usb port became power and block info make the usb stick viewable.

Thx.

I cannot confirm this bug. I have also a Netgear 2200 and the USB is working great with LEDE 17.01.2.
How it works for me:
Flash lede 17.01.2 with luci with checked "factory settings after flash". After that just insert a usb-pendrive. The LED of the pendrive turns on - it gets power.

Check your patch you seem to apply. Its already in the latest code of lede. It is been reworked and cleaned up. The gpio-trigger to enable usb power is down the same file.
