pprindeville:

Problem occurs on x86 builds (both x86-32 and x86-64).

Is observed with HEAD (6138d84).

Install a recent build. Boot. "ls /boot"

I should add that this is useful to support kexec which may require /vmlinuz as the kernel to boot into in case of a panic.
