FS#689 - WiFi disconnects on Dir300 b7 #7999
Comments
pumpum: System Log |
mkresin: Would you please test the [[https://downloads.lede-project.org/snapshots/targets/ramips/rt305x/lede-ramips-rt305x-dir-300-b7-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin|Dir300 b7 snapshot image]] and report back whether the issue still exists. Does it happen for all other clients than Android devices as well or is it specific to Android devices. Which Android devices are connected to the AP? Would you please attach your sanitised /e/c/wireless as well. |
pumpum: Hi, first whant to say Thank You for u work! I have tested this snapshot image but unfortunately nothing changed, wifi disconnects is still there. Unfortunately I do not know if this is happening to all the other clients or it is specific to Android devices, dont have any non-Android device to test it. Connected devices: Htc One / Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (both of them having this issue) Sometimes for this reason, you can not download the file at the first attempt because the wifi is disconnects and the connection is drops My fixed wireless config wifi-iface section looks 1:1 like this one (will post it fully later, can't ssh to my device right now sry for this):
config wifi-iface
option ssid 'LEDE'
option encryption 'none'
option device 'radio0'
option mode 'ap'
option network 'lan'
option disassoc_low_ack 0

This: nodemcu/nodemcu-firmware#639 and this: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=43188
Device: Dlink Dir-300 b7 with latest LEDE 17.01
Solution: Adding an option 'option disassoc_low_ack 0' to /etc/config/wireless in the config wifi-iface section.
