richb-hanover: Update: Other facilities in the router seem to work fine. It passes traffic, gives out DHCP addresses, etc. |

mkresin: Well, https://lede-project.org/toh/hwdata/netgear/netgear_wndr3400_v2 says wlan is not supported. Since the board has broadcom wifi chips it isn't really surprising. For reference the forum thread you already replied to: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=58400 |
bjonglez: The wireless chips indeed look unsupported: |
richb-hanover: Yes, please close this issue. Thanks! |
richb-hanover:
Supply the following if possible:
Fresh install of 17.01.0-rc1 on Netgear WNDR3400v2
Powered by LuCI 472dc4b9e2ca71c114f5da70cb612c1089b8daa7 branch (git-17.025.85178-472dc4b) / LEDE Reboot 17.01.0-rc1 r3042-ec095b5 r0+3043-68a04db
The LuCI web gui does not show Network -> WiFi, nor does /etc/config/wireless exist when I ssh in. Is this expected? Can it be fixed? (I don't know, and can't tell from the OpenWrt Device Page, whether Wi-Fi should work on this device.) Thanks!
