Software versions of OpenWrt/LEDE release, packages, etc.: the latest version of OpenWrt to date, 21.02.1. The previous one, OpenWrt 21.02, suffers from this problem as well. All packages are on their default versions for this releases, nothing has been updated.
Steps to reproduce:
Install OpenWrt 21.02.1 on Asus RT-N56U (version A1).
Either load the router with some heavy task or wait a day or so. In my case the router reboots when I'm trying to download a big file (e.g game or film) on the speed of 200 Mbits (which is the speed of my internet connection). Or it reboots randomly after somewhere like 24 hours of uptime. The best uptime I've got on this version of firmware was around 48 hours, so only 2 days.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide logs, as they are erased every time the router reboots, which happens exactly after the problem occurs. However, I might try to set up persistent logging, if it's necessary.
Workaround: use OpenWrt 19.07, the oldstable version. The latest version at the moment is 19.07.8. I moved here from 21.02 and everything works fine so far. I had also used it for 1.5 years before 21.02 released, and had a very solid uptime then. Even if it has ever crashed, it was such a rare occurence I don't remember it at all.
