/tmp is a tmpfs mountpoint, so the image permissions don't apply. Is your /tmp mount working correctly? And are you by any chance using zram?
@matthias Schiffer Yes, my /tmp mount point works correctly (with the exception of access rights) and I use zram.
@jedi7 Rights in the image exposed correctly (777). But when mounting zram to the /tmp mount point, rights are reset to 755.
