  • Versions of OpenWrt where bug occurs: 21.02.0-rc3, snapshot (ath79)

If /sbin/wifi is used to turn on wifi, an error message appears in syslog.

wifi appears to function normally nevertheless, but,ubus call network.wireless status erroneously reports that radio0 is down.
=====Steps to reproduce=====

  • uci set wireless.@wifi-iface[0].disabled=0
  • uci set wireless.@wifi-device[0].disabled=0
  • uci commit
  • wifi
