On a four-core ethernet 100Mb cable, it is forcibly connected to 1000Mb and link does not work.

Seeing the same issues on OpenWrt 21.02.
Device: Xiaomi Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition
Also, after setting the 100baseT mode manually via ethtool, large packet losses are observed

The problem is fixed in 22.03.0-rc1 and later, see #8840 (comment) I do not know which commit exactly fixed it.
