After I upgraded to 19.07.7, any setting change I make on the 5GHz AR9580 wlan of my TL-WDR4300v1 causes it to become disabled/not active. Examples are changes in channel, power or HT20<->HT40. 'iw wlan1 info' shows the updated settings, but wlan is not working.
The 2.4GHz radio is working without issues.
I did not notice this behaviour before upgrading, but I might have been lucky (not changing settings) on 19.07.6. But at least on 19.07.5 I did change the wifi settings multiple times without issues.
Restarting and/or enabling/disabling the wifi networks does not bring the wlan back.
Restarting the router does not bring the wlan back.
Power-cycling the router does bring the wifi adapter back with the changed/updated settings.
(The AR9220 radio on my WNDR3700 (also 19.07.7) is doing setting changes without issue.)

As a follow-up: yesterday, the 5GHz radio came up normally after a change. After some further experimentation, I am now starting to believe the problem has to do with a busy 5GHz spectrum and the DFS waiting time. Apparently this waiting time can be an hour if I am unlucky?
So I propose to close this bug. Sorry for the noise.
