Setup the router as Access Point and connect devices using WiFi. Then go under Network -> Wireless then look under HOST there will be a IPV6 address or a question mark.
This is normal if the AP is not acting as router and/or DHCP server. Since it'll not be involved in layer 3 routing, it usually has no information about the IPs (or hostnames) used by associated clients.
