With several OpenWRT versions starting from 2018 (when I bought the router), WLAN periodically stops working after a week or after a month. Wired Ethernet ports remain working. WLAN restart does not help.

Kernel log suggests to file a bug report on rt2x00.serialmonkey.com but the site is not functioning.

The trail of the kernel log:

Sorry, forgot to mention OpenWRT release: OpenWrt 18.06.4 r7808-ef686b7292 / LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-19.170.32094-4d6d8bc)

There have been quite some things fixed in rt2x00 since that release which will not be backported to 18.06. Please report back after retrying with a more recent version, ie. OpenWrt 19.07.x or a snapshot build.

Thank you, will try. But due to quarantine measures, I'm stuck in Russia while the router is in France. :) So I will be able to try it at least in May.
