There is a problem with creating chrooted SFTP access using OpenSSH package. However, it seems that the problem isn't with the package, rather with realpath function of OpenWRT. The whole description of the problem was already provided in [[https://forum.openwrt.org/t/openssh-sftp-server-chroot-fails-to-change-directory/44355|forum]], here I only copy the part of the log file:
Nov 29 10:06:27 OpenWrt internal-sftp[12557]: realpath "."
Nov 29 10:06:27 OpenWrt internal-sftp[12557]: debug3: request 46352: sent status 2
Nov 29 10:06:27 OpenWrt internal-sftp[12557]: sent status No such file
Tested on both 18.06.5 and 19.07.0-rc1 with the same result.
