vinibali:

Hello there,

I just found couple of IPv6 packages are built inside the package, even if I defined them to be on the exclude list.
Are these needed to public IPv6 communication? Build log attached and there packages are the following:

  • kmod-nf-conntrack6
  • libip6tc2
  • luci-proto-ipv6

Device TP-Link WR1043v2
Image build date: 20191011
Used image: openwrt-imagebuilder-ath79-generic.Linux-x86_64.tar.xz

Regards

vinibali:

Sorry, it's a duplicate of "FS#2550 - [Imagebuilder] not all IPv6 packages are excludeable".
Reason: bugtracker has returned with an error, claiming to long string at the tags.

yousong:

imagebuilder only installs prebuilt ipk files to form new images (firmwares).

CONFIG_IPV6 is a build time config and is enabled by default. Additonally, many packages have "+IPV6:xx" as part of their dependencies. One example is here is the default builtin package "firewall". This dependency is also built into ipk at build time

To disable builtin IPV6 features and packages, users are expected to build the image from source code.
