Just change firmware from ar71xx to ath79, now is not possible to control ethernet and wan leds from the sysfs interface.

I think tl-wr1043nd v2 is also affected. Archer C7 v4 is not affected as the leds as assigned through switches.

Is this still a problem and can you please provide more details about what the problem is (i.e. steps to reproduce)?

Yes, this is still present tested with 19.07.3 and actual trunk. The issue is just the lan and wan leds doesn't get exported over the sysfs interface.

The issue is as described, for more recent versions of wr1043nd and archer c7 the leds are exported. For archer c7 v2 for example the leds works as are defined it's behavior in the dts file but the are not configurable in runtime. USB leds for example are defined in dts but then is possible to change the behavior as they are exported over sysfs.

What I can't remember now is the power led, I'm not sure if over ar71xx it appears over sysfs, over ath79 the missing leds are lan/wan, and the power.
