Since switching my WNDR3700v1 from Netgear's firmware to OpenWrt 18.06.2 r7676-cddd7b4c77, I am experiencing the following issues:

  1. PowerLAN adapters and network devices connected through it are only seen by the router if the first PowerLAN adapter is connected through a crossover cable. With the manufacturer's firmware, it was possible to connect the adapter by standard ethernet cable.

  2. A printer connected through PowerLAN does not get assigned an IP4 network address, even though I have defined a static address for it in the DHCP section of OpenWrt; (it does get an IPv6 address though). The missing IP4 network address prevents the scanner part of the printer from sending scans to a network folder on my NAS connected through ethernet cable to the router. This issue also did not exist with the original Netgear firmware.
