Having kmod-fs-ntfs and ntfs-3g packages installed. When I try to mount a FAT32 partition using the following command: mount -o "rw,sync" "$(blkid --uuid 8457-AE8F)" "/TSH"
I get the following error (twice) Failed to mount '/dev/sda1': Invalid argument
The device '/dev/sda1' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS.
Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a
partition (e.g. /dev/sda, not /dev/sda1)? Or the other way around?
NTFS signature is missing.

(The volume still mounts though).
After investigation, it appears that ntfs-3g is the cause of the problem. Removing it (even while keeping kmod-fs-ntfs installed) seems to stop the error message form showing when mounting the partition.
