FS#2290 - Not all LEDs availiable #7178
Comments
ynezz: Please try the latest snapshot image from http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/kirkwood/generic/ and request reopen of this task if you don't have all 10 LEDs available |
inator: Thanks for your reply. It looks like the LEDs are there with snapshot firmware. Sadly, Serial connection is required to upgrade the box. root@OpenWrt:~# cat /etc/banner OpenWrt SNAPSHOT, r10128-ef7aa03 root@OpenWrt: |
inator: Hi ! I have installed the latest version (OpenWrt 18.06.4, r7808-ef686b7292). LEDs still have the same behaviour like on my first try (OpenWRT 18.06.2, r7676-cddd7b4c77) In which stable version can I expect the new behaviour to be implimented ? |
ynezz:
Hopefully the next one, 19.07. |
inator: Hello ! Sadly, the changes were not implemented, korrect ? |
inator: I have made the upgrade via sysupgrade, not via komplete new flashing with serial/tftp. |
inator: Ah ! Just installed OpenWrt 19.07.0-rc2, r10775-db8345d8e4 via sysupgrade. LEDs are there ! Thx a lot ! |
inator:
Supply the following if possible:
OpenWRT 18.06.2, r7676-cddd7b4c77
Seagate Goflex Net (Kirkwood Platform)
There are 10 more LEDs availiable (and they were working with Debian on an USB stick).
Now I have changed to OpenWRT and there seem to be only (3 colors of one) LED availiable.

Is there a workaround to make these LEDs accessable without compiling a new Firmware ?
