EpeR1:

Carambola2 board (from 8devices) enters to reboot-loop when I enable the wifi.
It doesn't occur when the iface mode is 'monitor', instead of mode: ap.

OpenWrt 18.06.02, 18.06.01, ... Lede 17.01.1 affected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install the firmware with sysupgrade
  2. vi /etc/config/wireless
  3. Edit the "option disabled 1" row, set the number 0, to enable the radio.
  4. Enter "wifi reload" command
Then the device enters to reboot-loop.

My console log is attached to bug report.

What is your power supply? Have you tried to run OpenWrt image provided by 8Devices?

That's a key question! :)

My board is a Carambola2-DVK, which gets the power via USB socket.
I used from my laptop USB connector, and the reboot-loop occurred.
Now, I'm supplying from an USB hub, which can supply 1A per port, and works fine with OpenWRT 18.06.2!

Sorry for my fake bug-report!
