LinuxfarmerHH:

Supply the following if possible:

  • Device problem occurs on: TP-Link Archer C7 V2

  • Software versions: Start with 18.06, upgrade to 18.06.1

  • Steps to reproduce

  1. Secure luci access with luci-ssl module and disable plain http access. While uograding the luci-ssl module will be removed, so after upgrade there is no login possible. Method here under Web-UI: https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/secure.access

  2. Use an dsl-lite link for this, run the sysupgrade. While sysupgrade the ds-lite module is removed, so after reboot you only have IPv6 access. Thanks god openwrt is able to upgrade and install the ds-lite package over IPv6.

For me this is not the idea og "keep settings", require base modules should be kept or upgraded in the same procedure to keep base functionality.
