Supply the following if possible:

  • Device problem occurs on
  • Software versions of OpenWrt/LEDE release, packages, etc.
  • Steps to reproduce

Device: Linksys E1700
Running: Trunk, but also tested positive with 17.01

After rebooting the E1700 router, that has a device connected, whos network card has enery saving activated, the link of the port, that the device is connected to, does not come up.

Tested with a Dell laptop with a Realtek PCIe GBE Familiy Controller, the driver options that needed to be deactivated were "Energy Efficient Ethernet" and "Green Ethernet".
But the problem also happened with various thin clients and printers.

The log or dmesg does not show anything regarding this.
