This exact same NOR chip is starting to appear in other Mikrotik devices, which prevents OpenWrt from being flashed on them:

Robert Marko submitted a patch upstream to add support for this chip, but it has not been accepted yet: https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/934181/
