Mijzelf:

On an ZyXEL P-2812HNU-F1, running OpenWrt 18.06.0-rc1, gpio doesn't work.

The kernellog shows
[ 1.444625] leds-gpio: probe of gpio-leds failed with error -5

There are no leds in /sys/class/leds, and no inputs in /sys/class/inputs. As far as I can find it's not possible to enter failsafe using a button.

Please provide the full dmesg output. It's quite likely a consequential error of something else failing.

Would you please test if the issue is fixed for the images provided at https://kresin.me/files/.

No, issue isn't fixed. Are you sure about that images? The kernel compile date is a week ago.

Are you sure about that images?

Yes I am. It was the correct image, but I added the patch for the wrong kernel version (kernel 4.14, which isn't the default for lantiq on 18.06).

Anyway, I've uploaded a fresh set of images. Please test again.

This one works. Thanks a lot.
