When I set the wifi channel to 'auto', on a tp-link wr840n v4, the wifi interface seems to get disabled.
I'm using "Reboot SNAPSHOT r5122-f7a6fd3".
If I fix some channel (1 to 11), the wifi connection works normaly.

This seems like an mt76 issue. Please check again with a recent version of OpenWrt, maybe it has been updated in the meantime.
