arliones: I have the same router and the same issue. Is someone looking into that? |

any idea where to look? |
adrianschmutzler: I don't exactly understand what's the problem, so what you try to achieve here? Can you elaborate? |
dark-penguin: The problem is that no LEDs other than "power" work. This includes USB, WiFi-2.4G, WiFi-5G, and even the port activity LEDs which I thought were managed automatically by the switch hardware?.. I can confirm this on 18.06.8 and 19.07.3 . In the PR that added support for this router ( #3017 ), there was some discussion about WiFi LEDs not working, but nothing about USB or port activity LEDs. There was a fix for 2.4 GHz WiFi LED, but it's not in 19.07.3: a1f0fd8 In case you need more information/people, there are two discussions about this on the forum: |
adrianschmutzler: The proper fix for the issue has been backported to 19.07. 18.06 is EOL now, and won't be fixed. |
a-tom:
Device: ASUS RT-AC51U
Software: openwrt-18.06.2-ramips-mt7620-rt-ac51u-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
Packages: default
LED configuration isn't working at all, tried all possibilities available on the LuCi Interface (only power LED is working)
Tried also switching of LEDs on command line as described on OpenWRT website, but failed
Searched in forum, but only found another user with exactly the same problem
